Getting There and Getting Around
The 2024 Annual Meeting and Expo will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center, 1301 2nd Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55404. APHA is utilizing the whole convention center.
Airport

Minneapolis is serviced by Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport, 10 miles from the Minneapolis Convention Center. The airport supports accessible travel.
Parking at the MCC
The MCC has partnered with four City of Minneapolis parking garages that are all connected through the skyway system and located within two blocks of the center. See parking map.
Skyway System
The Minneapolis Skyway System is the largest contiguous system of enclosed, second-level bridges in the world. Composed of over 10 miles of pathways, attendees can easily navigate from their hotel to the convention center with shops, restaurants and more along the way. See if your hotel is connected.
Free Ride Buses
Ride for free to and from the Minneapolis Convention Center on the Free Ride buses. These buses run seven days a week from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. Many of the APHA hotels are within a short walking distance to this free shuttle.
Event Shuttle
Shuttle transportation will be provided to hotels outside of approximately a 1-mile radius from the Minneapolis Convention Center. More Hotel Shuttle Information can be found here.
The shuttle will drop off at the Second Avenue South Entrance, at the center of the convention center. Those traveling on to the Hilton can walk outside or take the skywalk.

Accessible Transportation
Wheelchair accessible van transportation to and from the Minneapolis Convention Center to APHA-approved hotels can be scheduled upon request. Those who indicated a mobility concern during registration will be sent special instructions on how to schedule transportation in advance of the meeting. Onsite, visit the shuttle transportation booth to make arrangements.
