2025 NVDRS New Investigator Research Award  

In partnership with CDC, we are currently accepting applications for the 2025 cycle of the National Violent Death Reporting System New Investigator Research Award. This opportunity is geared toward emerging researchers/investigators to promote innovative and quality analysis of violent death data collected by the NVDRS. Read more about NVDRS.

Eligibility:
To be eligible, you must have graduated with a doctoral degree in January 2020 or later.

Award:
If selected, you will receive up to a $6,500 stipend to support your analysis and manuscript development.

Deadline:
The application deadline is April 21, 2025
