Onsite Resources

Families
Supervised children 16 and younger are welcome to attend the meeting for free and are welcome in all areas of the Annual Meeting during open times. However, with regard to scientific sessions, if children begin to make noise, it’s critical that parents remove them from the room immediately so as not to disturb the session. Children are not permitted in the Expo Hall during set-up and tear down.

Spouses/Parents
Presenters are allowed to have one spouse or parent attend their session for $30. This can be added during the registration process. If you would like your spouse to accompany you to multiple sessions and events, you must register them as a guest.

Nursing Mothers
Spaces have been designated for pumping or breastfeeding mothers at the Minneapolis Convention Center and the Hilton hotel. These spaces offer comfortable seating, extension cords and refrigerators. There are two nursing lounges in the MCC. They are both on the second floor, near room 202B and in the Seasons Lounge Hallway. There is one designated nursing lounge in the Hilton, located in Board Room 1.

Gender-Neutral Restrooms
Gender-neutral restrooms can be found on three levels of the MCC near room 101J, 202B and the Lower Level Lobby. A gender-neutral restroom has been designated at the Hilton near Orchestra D on the second level.
