President-Elect
The member elected by the Governing Council as APHA president-elect will become president-elect at the close of the 2024 Annual Meeting and Expo in Minneapolis and assume the presidency at the close of the 2025 Annual Meeting. Candidates for president-elect:
Executive Board Members
The Executive Board has 12 elected members, with three elected annually to four-year terms. The Governing Council will elect three new Executive Board members during APHA's 2024 Annual Meeting. Candidates for Executive Board:

Honorary Vice Presidents
The Governing Council will elect three honorary vice presidents to serve a one-year term. The Governing Council will elect the honorary vice presidents during APHA's 2024 Annual Meeting and Expo. Candidates for honorary vice president:
- Canada: Vamini Selvanandan, MD, MPH, CCFP (EM), Chair of Board of Directors, Canadian Public Health Association
- Latin America and the Caribbean: Fernando Sacoto, MD, MPH, Executive Director, Alliance of Public Health Associations in the Americas and President, Ecuadorian Society of Public Health
- United States: Bechara Choucair, MD, Executive Vice President and Chief Health Officer, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Hospitals, Inc.
