Established in 1920, the Public Health Nursing Section innovates nursing to advance population health through community and professional partnerships, evidence-based practice, workforce development, research, policy development and advocacy.

The Section assures consideration of nursing concerns by providing mechanisms for interdisciplinary nursing collaboration in public health policy and program endeavors.
