Speakers
Danny Scalise, MBA, MPH, CPH, FACHE is an accomplished public health executive with extensive experience in health policy, public health administration, and systems leadership. He has led award-winning initiatives addressing rural health disparities, substance use, and health equity. His work integrates innovation, including artificial intelligence, to advance population health and strengthen public health infrastructure.
Beth A. Resnick, DrPH, MPH is the Assistant Dean for Public Health Practice and a Practice Professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Department of Health Policy and Management. Her research focus is on assessing and improving public health infrastructure capacity and advancing public health worker recruitment, retention, and well-being.
Edlin Garcia, PhD, MPH is an Assistant Professor at Indiana University's School of Public Health-Bloomington. She holds a Ph.D. in Health Behavior, an M.P.H. in Behavioral Health, and a B.A. in Global Studies. Her research focuses on mental health literacy and help-seeking behaviors to enhance workplace mental well-being.
JP Leider, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Division of Health Policy and Management at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, and founding director of the School's Center for Public Health Systems. The Center works to support governmental public health departments in their research, evaluation, and technical assistance needs.
