Those not issued media credentials must register under another registration type to attend the meeting. APHA reserves the right to review and determine who is, and who is not, eligible for media credentials.
Information regarding news media registrants is proprietary. APHA does not give, rent or sell current or past media registration lists.
Recording/Livestreaming policy
Only officially contracted APHA vendors and working journalists with APHA-approved news media credentials are permitted to record video or audio during the meeting. Credentialed reporters wishing to record any proceedings, including presentations, events or interviews, must be accompanied by APHA Media Office staff or have prior approval from APHA’s Communications and Marketing Department. Individuals recording with personal audio/video equipment such as smartphones, digital cameras, audio recorders or other recording devices without prior permission from APHA or without proper credentials will be asked to cease recording immediately. Livestreaming presentations in scientific sessions or plenary sessions is not permitted, including livestreaming on any social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram or YouTube. No audio or video recording or photography is permitted on the Public Health Expo floor unless approved and accompanied by APHA Media Office staff. Presentations in select sessions will be available through APHA Now via livestream or on-demand.
Those found violating this policy will be asked to leave the session and APHA reserves the right to ban violators from attending future sessions.
