The Chiropractic Health Care Section enhances public health through the application of chiropractic knowledge to the community.

Mission

To promote evidence-informed public health initiatives, policies, and practice related to chiropractic healthcare.

Aims

  • Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and community engagement between the chiropractic profession and other APHA sections, public health agencies, health systems, and community organizations to advance public health and related policy.

  • Advance science- and evidence-based decision making by disseminating public health education and research, especially with regards to spine and musculoskeletal health. 

  • Promote health equity and justice by supporting policies and partnerships that advance safe, effective chiropractic practices that are accessible across all communities.

  • Sustain a connected public health-focused chiropractic community with an engaged and diverse membership including clinicians, educators, students, and other public health and health care professionals.
