What: American Public Health Association 2020 Annual Meeting and Expo — The largest and most influential yearly gathering of public health professionals. This year’s theme is "Creating the Healthiest Nation: Preventing Violence." Multiple sessions will cover the COVID-19 pandemic and racial equity. APHA members will also vote on new public health policy statements.

Mona Hanna-Attisha, pediatrician and activist known for her role in uncovering the Flint water crisis
David Williams, of Harvard University, voted one of the World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds
Patrice Harris, American Medical Association past president
Aqueela Sherrils, activist known for his role in healing gang violence and director of The Newark Community Street Team
