Description
Join Walden University faculty member and pioneer of community-based participatory research Dr. Michael Schwab as he discusses collaboration and cooperation as ancient principles for effective group activity.
Along with community participation, they have been recognized as key elements of public health since the 1960s. Yet there is often misunderstanding of the various types or degrees of coalition and community engagement, and the difficulties that can arise when researchers try to engage with communities as research or program partners.
In this webinar, we will discuss the advantages and limitations of collaboration, and the skills needed to effectively practice it.
