Description
Over 1.2 million people in the U.S. have HIV and 700,000 people have died since 1981 from HIV-related illness. The total number of cases in the U.S. drops each year and is projected to continue decreasing annually. However, HIV infections and risk could be reduced drastically with greater uptake of pre-exposure phrophylaxis (PrEP).
Join public health experts for this free in-depth discussion that will focus on why adoption has been slow among diverse populations, the current legislation that’s impacting widespread adoption of PrEP, possible solutions to access issues and recommendations for increasing PrEP usage.
