U.S. Surgeon General to Hangout with Students During Healthiest Nation Town Hall

National Public Health Week is just around the corner, and on Friday, April 8, APHA will celebrate Public Health Student Day by hosting a tele-town hall featuring U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy Please join the "how we become the healthiest nation in one generation" Google Hangout from 2 – 3 p.m. EDT. Students will have a chance to chat with the nation’s top doc and brainstorm on how to improve the health of our country. APHA Student Assembly Chair Suparna Navale, a doctoral student at the Kent State University Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, will provide opening remarks, and Tamar Klaiman, PhD, MPH, will moderate the discussion.
