The Community Health Planning & Policy Development Section develops and advocates for health planning, policies and practices to promote health equity, community empowerment and social justice.
We are a dialogue and action nexus for community health planning and policy leaders.
Our Work
We bring our members together to work on the following priorities:
- Influence the design of health systems and policies that are responsive to a changing society - bringing together technical information and the expertise of communities, health professionals, business and government.
- Promote the importance, power and balance of community advocacy.
- Shift policy to eliminate disparities and promote healthy communities in public and private venues.
