Nominations Committee

The Nominations Committee is responsible for the recruitment and selection of candidates for Association-wide office, including Executive Board, Speaker of the Governing Council, Treasurer and President-Elect, as well as Honorary Vice-Presidents for the United States, Latin American and the Caribbean, and Canada. All candidates for Association-wide office are selected from among the membership of the Association, except for the candidates for the offices of honorary vice president which may include persons who are not members of the Association.

The Nominations Committee is composed of the president and the executive director as non-voting members and nine voting members of the Governing Council. Nominations to join the Nominations Committee are now open. Only current Governing Councilors, who do not represent Aging and Public Health, CHPPD, PHEHP, the Arkansas Public Health Association, Maternal and Child Health and Heath Administration are eligible to be nominated. Nominations should be submitted via this online form by September 5, 2024 . Three nominees will be elected by the Governing Council during Session II of their Annual Meeting on October 29, 2024.
