Promoting active communities: Finding data that tells your story

Webinar //

Date:

Apr 25 2017, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM EST

Description

APHA believes in the power of evidence — and using data to inspire change — to create healthier communities for all. That’s why we’re proud to announce a new website exploring the Bicycling and Walking in the United States: 2016 Benchmarking Report, which traces the rise of walking and bicycling across the nation. APHA and the Institute of Transportation Engineers, in partnership with the League of American Bicyclists, created the interactive website to make critical data from this report more accessible and user-friendly. The site demonstrates easy ways for users to explore benchmarks such as mode share, public health, and traffic safety. View the archived webinar to learn how to use the new Benchmarking Report website and how you can apply the information you learn to advocate for bicycling and walking in your community.
