“Bold and Humble - Engaging in Anti-Racist Public Health"

Today’s public health challenges require innovation and collaboration, none more so than health equity. The Minnesota Public Health Association’s 2021 Annual Conference, “Bold and Humble - Engaging in Anti-Racist Public Health" aims to address these challenges by elevating Minnesota-based initiatives on racial justice. Held virtually April 29-30, the program features APHA President José Ramón Fernández-Peña, MD, MPA, as a keynote address.

Additional plenary speakers include Dr. Eddie Moore Jr., Kenston Henderson, Sr., Rosemond Sarpong Owens, CDM, MPH, and the Great Lakes Public Health Coalition members. They will thoughtfully guide attendees through anti-racism practices from their national-level experiences. Inspiring breakout sessions and an engaging weeklong poster hall will round out the conference. Learn about the work being done through bold, innovative approaches and thoughtful, courageous collaborations.
