Observances //

Date:

Jan 21 2020

Description

The fourth National Day of Racial Healing is a day set aside to share truth, deepen relationships and build trust in order to create a more just and equitable world. Join conversations online, in your communities and at home.

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation will mark the day with a three-hour livestream event on their YouTube channel from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., with former and current Teen Vogue Editors-in-Chief Elaine Welteroth and Lindsay Peoples Wagner. The event will take place at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and everyone is invited to attend virtually with friends, family, colleagues and neighbors.

Events have been planned across the country to honor the day, including concerts, arts workshops, racial healing circles and lunch and learns. Visit www.dayofracialhealing.org to find an event near you or add your own.

Also, check out the Kellogg Foundation toolkit for ideas and sample graphics to help you promote the day. You can also join the conversation using the hashtag #HowWeHeal in your social media channels.
