Join this virtual workshop hosted by the Rutgers School of Public Health to:
- Analyze developments in inhalation/air transmission science that have occurred over the last four years.
- Apply the science of inhalation/air transmission to protect health care workers from infectious diseases.
- Develop steps to promote the recognition of inhalation/air transmission science among healthcare facilities, local and state health departments, OSHA and the CDC.
- Define infection control terminology, aiming to eliminate confusion and ensure consistent usage across healthcare facilities, local and state health departments, OSHA and the CDC.
- Integrate the World Health Organization’s updated terminology for pathogens transmitted through the air in health care facility policies.
