Join APHA and the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion for a webinar on community-based violence prevention and firearm safety. Gun violence and firearm-related injuries are a major cause of death in the United States.
During this one-hour event, ODPHP will present the latest data on two Healthy People 2030 featured objectives related to violence prevention and firearm safety. The webinar will also feature a presentation by the University of Iowa Injury Prevention Center discussing intervention strategies to address community violence.
