Few are aware that a child can have 20/20 eyesight and still have a vision problem, which can be at the core of a learning disability. This webinar for APHA members will shed light on why so many students are still failing in school despite remedial help, IEP's, and medication. It will provide new perspectives about the 1 in 4 students who are silently struggling with hidden vision problems.
Groundbreaking knowledge and interactive exercises will equip teachers, child study team personnel, therapists, school nurses, and administrators with an understanding of:
- The difference between vision and eyesight.
- How vision-related learning problems affect learning and behavior.
