There's nothing like attending the Annual Meeting in person. The chance to meet face-to-face with your peers and have your voice heard is an invaluable experience. However, we know that not everyone can travel to the meeting, and those who can attend often wish they could see more while they are there. Now APHA offers three ways to get the most out of APHA 2017 – even if you’re not there in person!
Live & On-Demand broadcast of premier presentations - APHA Live
APHA will broadcast eight premiere sessions at this year's meeting. APHA Live features speakers like Eriel Tchekwie Deranger, the driving force of the Indigenous Climate Action, and environmental advocates such as Queen Quet of the Gullah Geechee Nation and Chief Albert Naquin of the Biloxi-Choctaw Chitimacha Band of Isle de Jean Charles. Hear them and others discuss our most pressing challenges and chart our course for the future. Registration includes the live broadcast, on-demand replays for one year and the ability to earn up to 9 continuing education credits. Registration is expected to open on October 5. Find out more about APHA Live.
Recorded Annual Meeting Presentations – RAMP
So much innovative work is covered in our general scientific sessions. RAMP gives you access to hundreds of presentations with voice recordings synced to PowerPoint slides with cursor movements. Re-live a session you attended or view those you could not get to. Purchasing RAMP allows you to enjoy the scientific sessions from your own home at any time. Recordings will be available in mid-December. However, you can purchase access today while registering. Learn more and see a preview of last year's sessions.
