*Students must be currently enrolled and should be taking at least 6 credit hours (undergraduate) or 3 credit hours (graduate) per semester or comparable credits in a quarter system. Proof of status is required.
**College graduates within the last 24 months who are transitioning into the workforce. Proof of status is required.
Rules and Regulations
Presenter/Organizer/Moderator Policy — All presenters must be individual APHA members. Session organizers, moderators and presenters are required to register for the meeting (either full meeting or one-day). Discounted individual membership rates are available to employees of Agency/Organization Members.
No Call, No Show — Speakers who fail to show up for their presentation without notifying the program planner (PDF) of cancellation will not be permitted to present at any APHA-sponsored meetings for the following two years.
Copyright Issues — Speakers who use original work (pictures, charts, graphs, videos, etc.) in their presentation must cite the original source. If you are drawing heavily on another source, it is your responsibility to seek permission to use the material.
Publication Rights — Accepted abstracts for APHA 2020 may not be presented at any other meeting or published in any journal before Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020. It is the author's responsibility to submit their paper to a journal for publication after the meeting. Guidelines for manuscript submissions to the American Journal of Public Health.
