Druid Hills and Linear Park Tour
Saturday, Nov. 11  | 1-4 p.m.

Join the Olmsted Network for a complimentary tour of the Olmsted designed Druid Hills neighborhood and Linear Park. Walk through gorgeous landscapes with knowledgeable local tour guides to discuss the legacy of the park and Fredrick Law Olmsted’s advocacy for public health and its relation to the outdoors. This will be a walking tour of approximately 2 miles outdoor so we encourage attendees to dress appropriately. Please send any questions to vvanhuss@olmsted.org.

Transportation will not be provided to the location. Details regarding transportation options will be sent from the Olmsted Network. Registration closes October 2.

APHA Public Health Awards Ceremony and Luncheon
Monday, Nov. 13 | 12:30-2 p.m.

Help celebrate APHA’s biggest award winners during this networking lunch. Tickets can be purchased during registration. A discounted ticket is available for students who are invited to join us early for a meet-the-leaders reception.


APHA Night at the Georgia Aquarium

The Georgia Aquarium features some of the most amazing aquatic animals, including beluga whales, whale sharks, manta rays, penguins, sea otters, dolphins and many more. With animals living in more than 10 million gallons of fresh and marine water, the Georgia Aquarium offers seven permanent galleries.

Buy your discounted ticket directly from the Georgia Aquarium. Limited transportation will be provided to the Aquarium from the GWCC and attendees will be responsible for return transportation.

“MPH” Trivia Night
Tuesday, Nov. 13 | 7-8:30 p.m. | Room B313

Put your Masters in Pop(lic) Health degree to the test in this team game of trivia. Gather your friends and colleagues for six rounds of play on topics such as pop culture, music, history, food and drink, and plenty of other surprises! All you need is your phone's web browser to play. You can register as a single person or as a team. If you register as a single person, we’ll assign you to a team. Prizes will be awarded. Snacks and beverages included.

Registration Fee: $15 per person; $150 per team of 10.
