Plans after school: Upon completion of my master’s degree, I intend to seek further education through a Ph.D. program. I am passionate about combining my love of creativity in communication with public health and hope to mesh the two areas in my future career.

Personal Statement about APHA-SA: During my first semester of my master's program, I knew I wanted to become involved within the public health community. This desire led me to the perfect place to connect- the APHA SA. The APHA-SA provides students with endless opportunities for growth including networking, professional development, advocacy, and so much more. It also allows you to reach out to students with similar interests from all across the nation. My involvement in APHA has been wonderful and I'm so excited to be involved in such a wonderful organization! I encourage all students to join the APHA SA and take advantage of the wonderful opportunities it provides.
