Personal Statement about APHA-SA: I joined APHA-SA in November of 2013, and after reading more about the Student Assembly and talking to friends on campus I decided I wanted to become more involved. I think it’s important for students to connect with one another because we are going to be the future of the public health field. I hope by serving on the membership committee I can connect students and create professional development opportunities.
