Zika Preparedness and Response: A Public Health and Legal Perspective

Webinar //

Date:

Mar 18 2016, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM EST

Description

With the World Health Organization declaring Zika a public health emergency and with travel associated cases being reported to the CDC, it is critical that health care and public health practitioners, and their legal counsel, consider the role of law and policy in Zika preparedness and response. Speakers will provide an overview of the public health problem posed by Zika, discuss the domestic legal framework for addressing the virus, and highlight ways to coordinate health care and public health legal preparedness.
